Sorry I was wrong on a detail, I had a 3500-3800 psi fill. But I got 1100 shots out of it...Originally posted by TheTrampIf you're getting 1100 shots off a 68/3000 (fill) while using L10 (on a Retro style valve?) then you are way outside the norm. 650-800 would be the average for that fill.
All I know is that as long as I can shoot all the paint I can carry then I'm fine. I don't mind getting a fill each time I come out. This is probably because I don't play x-ball. :)Comment

Yup
One field I play at that's closer to where I live charges $10 to fill up a 47/3000. I figure I might have to fill it 2-4 times a day depending on how many shots I go through and which gun I'm using.Originally posted by BD_Paintballif you play at a place that has all day air that comes with your entry then it really does not matter. but if you have to pay per fill then that will add up to a good amount of money.
At the field that's further away, free air...but field paint only...so either I drop an extra $30 on field paint or an extra $40 on air refills. The difference then comes down to field quality and gas prices.
I'm hoping to get a couple bigger tanks, 68/4500s once I save up some cash...then if I play woodsball I won't have to worry about running out of air and having to carry back-up CO2 and a couple back-up blowbacks.Comment
