It is extremely comfortable to hold, even the squared for grip I too thought would be awkward but in reality it isn't, with the shoulder stock it sits just right and even with just the single trigger it just works. It does feel a little strange to have the stock but then the feel is how I wanted my Phantom many years ago. It is a little like the Dr Pepper ad...don't knock it until you try it.
Unfortunately a great many of you will not be able to. I feel priviliged to be able to write that I have, though I had also held and fired the second Spacemag around the time it was made.
In case some you hadn't realised the pictures I last posted are not the one's I was waiting for, they are pictures I took myself the day the Spacemag arrived in my hands.

We're still working on a new series of pictures. It shouldn't be too much longer.

So, time for some hardcore thread resurrection, but seeing as Maghog posted in this thread, maybe he is able to make do on his promise of pictures a few posts up.

              Here's to hoping!

Too bad they're gone. I was over in the states just last March and got the chance to hold this beauty. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take any good pictures.
One of these days I'll get it all together, finish all three guns I'm working on, make a web
site with everything on it for everyone to see. Unfortunately, it's not that high on the priority list right now.
                  Sorry,
                  Dan

So, if I'm reading correctly, you never purchased a Spacemag?

No, he did buy one of the three that were made. I found it and arranged the purchase, I then had it shipped to me and then I took it over last year to the states shipping it to the store where it is currently on display, this store is connected to Maghog (Dan) It was done this way due to the issues he has within Germany or else the orginal owner would have shipped it directly to Germany. Since I found the mag and was due to fly to the states it made it all a little easier. I have had some server issues plus a currently unreadable hard drive or else I would have reposted the pictures I took when it arrived in my hands.

Damn, a real shame you don't have the pictures to post.... I've been reading up on this thread ever since doc posted those frames on his site, and i am greatly interested in these old skool custom markers. Maybe i'll slap a piece of aluminium onto one of our CNC machineing centers at work when i have a mag to fit it to... I really like the looks of those mags!

My unreadable hard drive is the source of the issues with the pictures as the site the pictures in the previous page were hosted has gone....check back later tonight I 'may' have been able to replace them as I have just had an idea.

*edit* Pictures replaced, save them if you wish but remember who's pictures they are Since they are on a photobucket account they may well dissapear due to bandwidth so I would appriciate it that if you want to post them somewhere else that you use your own account rather than linking to the account.

                                very nice.

had to revive this thread out of admiration for these guns.
