AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
As stated above if you cant get them no one else can eather. So you wont have anyone to play against. And even if you do manage to build several for you and some freinds what happens if u mess up in building one. "I'm sorry the pb gun i built blew up in your sons hand and lodged broken matal and pvc in his skull. Im sure he'll come out of that coma soon."
There is very high preasure in a pb gun and it isnt something to just go and build because you got bored. If you truely are considering building a gun from scratch, DON'T! It's one thing if your are assembling different pices from different manufactures to "build" a "custom" gun. But what you are talking about is way different and not something to try without a lot of engineering knowledge. And on top of all that I seriusly doubt u have any of the tools (wich cost hundreds if not thousands of dollars) that you would need to take on this type of project short of a screwdriver.
I know I exadurated a few things here but the point is just dont do it. It's not safe
YES I AM BEING SERIOUS, i live in australia and i'm pretty sure they are illegal without a firearms license and i am too young to get one so i thought perhaps building one would be better, I dont even think i can import all the parts because a) it will cost way too much and b) customs might not let the parts (even if they are sent individually) through.
IF ANYONE has done this before or knows how to help please please please help me!!!!!!!
are you sure theyre illegal? you should check that first. i remember seeing a site for a field in australia that rented cyborgs, and they advertized families coming to play. would they let a 10 year old kid rent a gun if its legally considered a firearm? anyway, you could always rent. if you want to build your own gun youre either going to end up with a PVC pump with irregular velocity and that is poorly made, or youre going to have to find a CNC lab that will let you use their equipment. either way, you still have to worry about where to get a co2/HPA tank and where to get it filled, then where to get paint. and who to play with.

In australina you have to be 18 and have a gun license to *OWN* paintball guns. There is also a minimum age for playing on fields designed for paintball (probly 10).
And as far as building a paintball gun, first off you can't without a lot of engineering training, and thousands of dollars worth of tools. I suggest just doing it the legal way by renting a gun at a field, or just waiting until you are 18 to play with your friends. Or you could possibly move to the glorious USA.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but life doesn't always go our way.
Wait a minute, so you want us to advise you on how to violate your countries law in regards to firearms - Look at the terms of service, you are not supposed to discuss illegal activities, and in this case you are proposing that we help a minor not only own something in violation of your laws, but also manufacture.

I remember an article posted on here about australian paintball (article was a few years old a tthe time posted). I think it WAS illegal to own any pb gun. Some company from australia also desgined a gun that was almost identical to a mag. I know the gun laws there are nuts, but I do not know if paintball is as strict as then.
