Always! LOL I had one shot bounce off my inner thigh once and after that I always wear one. I've been wearing a hard cup for other sports so I don't mind wearing one...just gotta make sure it's positioned right or it defeats the purpose of wearing one to avoid nut pain

Lots of paintball pants have a bit of protection around "the area." I dont wear a cup, ever.

I wear a pair of Dye slider shorts w/ the soft foam insert in the front and they're super comfortable for crawling and sliding (they have padding for your *** too). Then again, I've never got shot in the nuts so I can't give the full review on their effectiveness.

alot of people do the old towel trick.

get a decent sized hand towel, and fold it in a way that it about 4-5 inches wide (depending on your..... size) and let it hang down a good 10-11 inches (depending on your... hang).
the whole thing should be a good 1inch or so thick, then just tuck it in your pant and you have full movement, and a towel handy.

I hear that it protects from stinky junk too...


Yup, cups are nice, after you get used to wearing one.

my dye pants have ball padding, and the slide shorts have the little foam deal as well. get something to protect your nuts.

I never saw this in person, however: I used to work in the gun room of a field with a friend of mine. He said he had a cousin that he brought out to play one day. He took a hard nut shot and it swelled to the size of a baseball. He was taken to the emergency room but ultimately - he lost the nut. Anyone that goes out there with no protection is literally nuts.

Look on ebay for "the duke"

It's a cup made entirely of foam. Much more comfortable than the other variety. I found one on Ebay from I&I Sports for about $5.

call me nut but i dont wear one because i dont plan on getting shot ever, i know im cocky [no pun intended]. I have been shot and it hurt but not nothing five minute on th ground didnt cure lol

I always wear one. One unlucky bounce followed by five minutes rolling on the ground, crying like a little girl, was enough to convince me.

I cut the side straps off, though, and let the cup hang loose in front. It still provides the same protection, and is unnoticeable in terms of comfort.
