I have seen a few older timmys and am starting to wonder about those older frames. Its the one that has a regular 45 grip but with a jog down near the bottom. Is this like a built in drop, or a way to shoot faster or just egronomically correct. Whats the deal. And if anybody has one or has shot one, what are they like.

i have a classic timmy, it has the stock grip with the little biult in drop foreward and i think that it is pretty nice. to me its comfyComment

That " built in drop " on the classic frames was a poor attempt to jam everything into a small grip frame that housed the battery...
Later on they moved it under the board but it made it to wide.... GZ

I had one on my classic but its too much of a hassle to use ...small trigger guard that you can't replace, somewhat heavy compaired to other timmy frames, annoying when the grips crack and break...and it is F'ugly.....
Just get a rail and be happy that you can adjust everything when you want....Comment

I loved mine. I wish I'd never sold my classic timmy - fastest, most consistent (w/ palmer stab), lightest, easiest to shoot marker I ever had.
