    Old timmy frames?

I have seen a few older timmys and am starting to wonder about those older frames. Its the one that has a regular 45 grip but with a jog down near the bottom. Is this like a built in drop, or a way to shoot faster or just egronomically correct. Whats the deal. And if anybody has one or has shot one, what are they like.

The battery was in that spot, at the end of the grip.

I really liked mine. The only reason I switched to a clamshell was my grips cracked and I had a hard time finding new ones.

That " built in drop " on the classic frames was a poor attempt to jam everything into a small grip frame that housed the battery...

Later on they moved it under the board but it made it to wide.... GZ

And then finally they set it up like on the 2k2 through alias frames

I had one on my classic but its too much of a hassle to use ...small trigger guard that you can't replace, somewhat heavy compaired to other timmy frames, annoying when the grips crack and break...and it is F'ugly.....

Just get a rail and be happy that you can adjust everything when you want....

I loved mine. I wish I'd never sold my classic timmy - fastest, most consistent (w/ palmer stab), lightest, easiest to shoot marker I ever had.

I'm sorry you didn't like it compared to other timmies.
                            Because you know.
It was only the first one out at the time.
