    When stripping the old ano off you are removing metal with it so that is when you are changing tolorances.

                The older stainless valves can be stainless blued. It actually comes out black. It is from stainless bluing salts. A decent gun shop can get you in touch with someone with stainless bluing tanks.

                You won't have the laser engraved markings after it's done. I had a MiniMag done years ago. The tolerance stack up is only a few .0001's

                I had the body black chromed also. It turned out real nice. I later sold it to someone at a tournament.
