He imeadiatly, in a joking manner, said "Do that and your never starting on the team." So I said fine-- Why not play a 1vs1, Piranha vs PM5. He laughed, the other guys didn't say much. Fact of the matter is this, I don't have a Piranha to play him with and have no intentions on buying/building one. (I allready own a X-Mag and Viking.) So, we will most likely never get around to doing the 1vs1.

    TO THE POINT
The PM5 is far superior. Period. End of story. But so many people simply frown on such markers based on the fact that the people using them are usually entry level players. The first thing out of my 'teammates' mouth was about how horribly there accuracy is. Hmm--- Lets replace the HP reg on a DM5 with the worst/slowest reg on the market and see how accurate it shoots? (I would say swap it for a gas through but, then some is going to say the direct pressure would blow the noid. Correct?) Say we are using an EVO for this argument--

Replace the hammer and bolt with after market parts, what ever the best replacements parts are.
T-Board it, give it a nice trigger job with a light microswitch.
Put a decent reg on it CP/Sidewinder/2Liter/Gladiator.
Any HP nitro tank with decent recharge.
And of course a well honed(sp?) .689 sized barrel.
    It allready has eyes.

Toss on a Halo, give it to a skilled player, and let him set up the ASA/Feedneck so he can shoot/shoulder it to his style. Now have him/her go 1vs1 with another skilled player with a PM5. No ramping, no bounce, chrono the markers at the same velocity, and have them play on a tourny style 3man field. (Size reasons, air bunkers of course.) (PM5 was mentioned only because that is what my teammate shoots. Same thing applies for Shockers, DMs, Timmys, Vikings, Cyborgs, etc...)

I am in no ways trying to say shoot an EVO over a PM5. Simply this, when you see a totaly nonsponsored team walk out on the field all sporting EVOs setup like afformentioned... Do you say "Wow! Guys we are going to roll them." Or do you realize, "Hey! that guy owns/usually shoots a Predatored Shocker, the other a Alias, and that last guy a DM5."

    *RANT SO OFF*
Blame anything confusing to lack of sleep.
So basically, what you are trying to say is, "don't underestimate your opponents".

...ever in the continual search of time dilation.

Eyes wouldnt do anything for the A5. With the Cyclone feed system it would be a waste. At the moment you are right about having to add the $100.oo to the A5 for the W.A.S board, but with the A5 you dont need to buy a $120.00 feeder. So your actually saving $ with the A5. Also after Tippmann sells off all of their stock boards I beleive they stated that they were going to start using the W.A.S. as their stock board.
You say you dont trust guns without eyes. You could trust the Cyclone feeder while I had the A5 I probably shot 25,000 to 30,000 rounds thru it and never chopped a ball. I had barrel breaks but never chopped.

Youd be suprised. I own a Blade, the older model, yes I know, I had $20 on hand, so...yah, and I use it just for kicks and giggles. You should see those little punks with the $1000+ markers when they get taken out by a $20 one. They really arent happy.

            Absolutely true.

And to all of you who are saying, "You could buy X to do the job better for less," that's not the point.
