Sure, a good amount of the tourny/speedball crowd are a bunch of loudmouthed losers - but how does that change woodsball? There might be a couple at your local woods field, but you probably could have found a couple before the first air bunker was ever inflated.

All-mech tournaments would be pretty sweet, though. Anyone ever thought of the idea of a "vintage tournament"? Like, all pre-1995 markers or whatever. Could be cool... (EDIT: And I could still use my Minimag. Sweet.)

Not trying to start a flame war, just wanted some intelligent view points on the topic. I love playing speedball AND woodsball. I was just wondering what you guys thought.

    Good point Rouge!

People really over simplify speedball when bashing it, but I guess that is what you do when you bah something.

Rogue, I will be at your house today with that stake I was talking about. (notice the stake, not steak).

it was the Muthers of Destruction - immortalized in songs, books and memories...

What never happened? the golden age of paintball?

let me tell you something sonny, back then, there were may 300 players across the country who really knew what paintball was all about.

unfortunately, most of them are gone now
