Damn I hate "news reports" like that. Paintball's dangerous! Everyone freak out! That is, until we find something new and sensational for people to panic over.

Running around 1000psi will allow you to do around 20bps, which is fast enough. Depending on how you shoot, you might get higher or lower results.
I think that scuba was regulated to 1600psi. This is the video with the Emag in mechanical mode with a Qloader emptying it in a little over three seconds, right? And you can get way over 20bps with less than 1000psi. The Devilmag can get over 45bps, and you don't need a 1000psi input for that.

Vetter said the tank was unregulated. I'm talking about bounce dude. You don't bounce with a devilmag, it's electronic.

Paintball is dangerous and everyone should freak out. Never panic.

Its all about S.E. Safety Education. I just wonder where the failure was on that tank. When I tried to find out all I got was. We cant comment on that as the investigation is on going.

We're not talking about the same video, I think... I'm talking about the "QLoader Testing" one. But no kidding you're talking about bounce. That's why you have the higher input, and that's why both myself and the video mentioned that the Emag was in mechanical mode. FYI, the video says this to introduce the E-Mag:
          Test#2
          SFL E-Mag
          Mechanical Mode
          1900psi input off scuba
          ~30BPS
So that settles that. And you don't need bounce on a Devilmag, you can use full auto to test the rate of fire. Devilsden.tv has this to say about the Devilmag:
          Unlimited bps with eyes on
MROF 45 BPS with eyes off
          ...and in the FAQ...
          Q-whats the fastest I have had 1?
A-can do a steady 20bps and have hit 26 bps. right shooter can do better.
Never mentions cranking up your input pressure or anything. Regardless, a good Mag at a resonable input pressure will keep up with any mere moral fingers, so it's a moot point.
