Time slows down when the adrenaline starts pumping.

I still remember very clearly thinking "Damn. This'll hurt." As I contemplated going over the handlebars at 30+kph.

I also clearly remember watching a windshield crack every so slowly after hitting a crash barrier at 100+kph.

        --Walking along the wagon
Thinking: Yeh, I might just get this girls phone number tonight, set up a date.. good
--Turn to move, feel wagon wheel on my foot
Thinking: Hmm - I can't yank my foot free, this is going to hurt
--Wagon wheel starts going up my leg, forcing me donw
Thinking: Gotta call Russ from the hospital and tell him I broke my ankle for tournament
        --Wagon wheel coming up
Thinking: Ok, I need to let it go over my leg, get close by the center, duck under the axle, and then roll out - uh-oh, thats a big axle, can't get under it
--Try to dive out of the way, of course pinned by wagon, wagon now against my ribs and pushing me down road
Thinking: Ouch... ok, when it gets over me, roll out of the way... its not getting over me, what do I do
--Seeing sister yelling at tractor driver and rushing
Thinking: Oh good, I don't have to do anything, sister will get the wagon stopped
--Wagon stops, but fails to roll backwards
Thinking: Hmm.. someone tell them to back up, cause its pinned me to the ground
        --Wagon rolls backward
Thinking: Yeh, I'm standing, I mustn't be too hurt, man it hurts to breath, and walk... and owwie... man, I wonder if I can still get her phone number...

For such a serious accident, with other people involved, I do not think I could even post somethign like this on the internet let alone take lightly. Everyoneis lucky to be alive and well, that is about he only good news.

i personally am not taking this lightly, i know that i effed up...and i dont want it to happen to anyone else. i posted this here/my roommate posted it on PBN to spread awareness, etc. Am I laughing about it? no. will i? no. im pretty shook up from this right now, and i know it hasnt even hit me fully yet. To prevent this from happening to our club in the future, we are ammending out club constitution tomorrow to include things such as mandatory stoping every ____minutes, and keeping atleast 1-2 other people in the car awake with the driver.

Wow, that's a funny narrative of your haywagon event there. Wow, lol. Anyways yeah, one of my friends wrecked his Prelude going way too fast on a gravel road. Flipped in the air and landed on the *** end, tumbled some more before landing 400 feet from where it hit the ditch. He's ok thank goodness but the Prelude is toast. Still ran though. Kinda hard to drive though when three tires are flat and the axle is bent. He wishes he had video of the thing to watch. Probably would have looked cool. We laugh about it now because he wasn't hurt and I think we should laugh. There's no reason to dwell on things that COULD have or MIGHT have happened.

                    lol....everyone seems to notice that...

my gf left that in the back of the car. its in the front from going through the back seat getting all of my stuff out(tools, tow ropes, jumper cables, etc)

TheTramp: yeah, i believe that when we started to roll, my head went towards the passenger side. Luckily, i only got cut on my right hand, bruised on my left shoulder(from seat belt) and got some small cuts on my left arm from when my window shattered. Everyone else in the car was just generally sore the next day, but no one was seriously hurt.
