Most outrageous price for an air fill?

Recently one of my local stores charged me 13$ to fill my 68/45 and, if I remember correctly they only filled it to around 3500-4000psi. The same tank that had been purchased at full retail price from the aformentioned store. Needless to say I never dealt with them again.

Just curious to see how bad I got ripped off....

I have two other local stores that fill nitro one charges 4$ and the other 6$. The "13$ store" just happend to be on my way that day and I didn't bother to ask the price of filling the tank.

I have always defended the need for profit, but $13 for an air fill is getting to the point of ridiculous.

The only way I could see a price like that is if it was an "all event" fill for something that lasted a few days

yeah thats a bit rediculous, the place I usually go to charges 3 for a fill regaurdless of size and 5 for all day air. I have never heard of more then like 6 for a fill though, thats pretty bad.

When I play paintball at my local field, I pay $10 for an entry fee and all day air. When I am not playing, but just get a tank filled, I pay $3, $13 is way to expensive for 1 fill. I understand proshops need to make money, but there is a line between making money and ripping people off.

I've been a few places that charget $1 per 1000 PSI. Not good when you use a 45ci tank and a gun that is a bit of an air hog.

Same w/ me. Maybe this guy's costs for renting out the building are astronomical. I went to a place that sold crappy zap econo paint for $100 a case and that was his excuse.

I live on a remote island and the only shop fillled my 92/45 to 4000 psi and charged me $15. They charged my friend $13 for a 72/3k fill. Now I bought fill station and each fill costs less and less. I am now down to 13$ per fill. It will keep getting lower and lower the more I fill
