I'm not a 100% sure, but it looks very much like a CCM under-cocking conversion kit.Originally posted by bentothejam1nexcuse my lack of knowledge on phantoms but what kind of pump kit is that?God....I guess I was probably returning videotapes.

Its a Punisher undercocking kit, also that is one cool looking set up you have there JeepinCalifornia.
I recommend a used phantom Glickman, easy to find and fits your price description. I have a phantom and I love it, just not as much as my Buzzard but it was my first pump and I could never sell it. Im also in the process of building a custom Sniper 2, its going to look sweet when its done. I will let you know how it goes when its done, you might also want to check into used ones since there also easy to find and have decent prices.

Ah yes, the trusty Kingman Hammer. Not a bad choice for an entry level pump.
If you're looking to get in on the cheap... look at the Maverick Deluxe, Trracer, and Hornet. Above that, look for a cheaper Phantom or Sniper. You probably won't get a stock class marker in that price range, but it will be a pump.
I managed to snag a Phantom for $100. I've gone through a lot of pump markers but still prefer the Phantom. I just sold a Sheridan P12 for $125 and a very nice Sniper II for $140.

I have shot them all at one point or another. In the world of pump accuraccy is much more important than a smooth pump in my opinion. Bang for buck go for the Phantom. Make sure you get a targeting tube, We used to call them ghost rings. Basically you lose target with the pump and it helps you get back on.
Chipley's pumps are great and very smooth but they will put you out close to $500. It would not hurt to find one of the old classics though and see if you like it before you invent. Check out www.stockclasspaitball.com for real answers to your pump question.

my friends custom, palmerized, sheridan 68-AT is by far the smothes pump stroke out there and i would put it against any other pump, you can pump it by throwing it down toward the ground (keeping it in your hand) like whatever movie that did that with a shotgun
there is a link to that gun around on ao somewhere... his sn is newbiemagman10988

Yo Glickman, you're at RIT? I'm in Rochester too. Maybe I'll see you at NVP some time. I don't usually see people using pumps there though. It'll be nice to maybe start a movement lol. All the Agg kiddies there would be really confused.

also, how are the cocker conversions as pumps? im gonna guess due to the way they operate they use too much air to be efficient as stock, but other then that, how are they?
