Name this gun/hopper....guys who've been around the sport a while...

Well I've had this magazine forever (Paintball Sports International, March 1999) and I've always wondered the exact name of the hopper in this picture. I've seen one once long ago but forgot who made it. Also, what kind of cocker is this?

(sorry for the bad quality, it was with my phone)

It looks like a prototype VL2000 from CM Support...I'm sure someone else can be a lot more specific than I am...

The gun might be a 'cocker SP Evolution. Hopper seems right db.
**EDIT** Obviously not, I just realised it was a DYE ad, unless it's just a barrel ad?

I could try to be a bit more specific as far as the cocker goes..but the pic is just so blurry it's hard for me to tell...

SP is the US distributor, they don't make them.

Of course, but 9 out of 10 people know it as an SP gun, say Besales and they'll say "Huh?"

Shockers don't have LPR's unless something drastic happened that I don't know about.

See that's what was throwing me off. Looks just like a cocker except no 3-way or Ram. I figured the hopper was some sort of old VL prototype. But why not use the VL200 for the shell? That's a wierd shell.

ok, last attempt here. Ghettoed out agitated 40 round hopper. Electronic cocker of some sort with the noid mounted on the top and ram on the other side???
                        worth a try

Looking at it again, I'm thinking its some sort of electro cocker. Look where the LPR is. You can see a black wire going down in front of his finger. If you look, you can tell its a 3-way, or if it was electric, a solenoid. Now look on top of the gun, that appears to be some sort of eye system going into the feedneck?

I know for a fact Nitroduck was the first to market an electro autococker. Is this what it looked like?

Its not a 40 round hopper. LoL...looks like an old Indian Springs hopper.

My logical guess is that it's an old prototype STO cocker that came out around 99 that integrated the 3-way and ram into the body of the cocker. I can't find any pictures of one now, but I've seen a few floating around online. Basically the ram is on the left side of the gun, but it's part of the body like on a Blazer. The 3-way is part of the trigger and the hose are in the handle. Basically just think of a blazer, but with a cocker body and the LPR sticking out front.

The hopper is one of the first models of the VL hoppers. The guts and batteries for the hopper are sticking out the back. There is a talking stop watch stuck to the back to tell game time. The wire going to the trigger frame looks like an Intellie feed system which came out around the same time.

If I find pictures of it I'll post it.
