it is extremely unintelligent to either skimp on parts you could accidentally subject to 4500 psi or RUN IT THROUGH YOUR BLOODY SHIRT!.

i honestly hope nothing bad happens to you...and that you remember to put your goggles on before every game.

both of these are on the same measure of intelligence

go out and buy some cheap BDUs and cut em up to make a cover if you have too...but dont be that guy...seriously.

do they let you play like that in canada?

How is this different from playing with a remote and a short sleeve shirt or with no shirt at all?

If the line is used at the operating pressure, I see no problem with this. A remote line failing isn't going to care if you have a thin layer of polyester over your arm or not.

Sarcasm: I'm saddened that people place 4500psi tanks right next to their necks and faces. All I can say is if I reffed your locl field, you would either stop putting your tank next to your neck and face or leave. That is a poor life decision. After all the, 4500psi tank is a FREAKING BOMB.

In all honesty, anyone who tosses their marker (w/on air supply) around in frustration, they can get off my field and stay away, thank you very much. Most of this equipment is DOT certified for a reason, and is pretty safe if used properly.

Anyway, on the remote question, yes, I do have one setup that I still use a remote on. I use a gas-thru stock and SS braid remote line on one of my ProLites, mostly for that old skool look, but also to recapture my first paintball setup. It works really well, whether I'm toting an air tank or CO2, and yes it does snag every so often, it's actually pretty reliable.

whats the difference if its the ss hose that goes from your tank to your gun thats three inches from your face or the same ss hose that goes from your back up your shirt.. it is the same ss hose rated for the same pressure. yes i have seen macro line burst no i havn't seen ss hose burst.

and to put nippinouts point again we hold 4500 psi of pressure right next to our neck/shoulder without thinking twice and as soon as you run 800 psi through some hose that is rated for much higher oh nose someone is makeing a mistake! give me a break.

with a mask on and (usually) a neck guard we atleast have some small extra second to throw the marker should a line snap. but if its under your shirt and right up against your body, UNDER your clothes where it would be nearly impossible to drag it out without it flaying you first is a lot harder.

I personally have never liked on gun setups because i think they are heavy and throw off my marker balance.
I stress the MY part because what you have is setup in a completely diffrent manner and i dont want a ton of ppl to go. "Well set it up this way and that will not be a problem" I hate that.

but speaking for myself when i play Scenario and know i might patrol for 2 hours without moving my gun out of the ready position i tend to like all my gear on my back where its just like a backpack. and if you throw a coil cover around any of the hoses they snag much less and the stainless will not shine out and give away your position.

this is all just my 2cents so take it at face value only please

I have a couple of guns I'd like to run on remote a lot, I don't because... well I don't own a remote, nor do I own a harness which could accomodate a bottle.

Translation - I'm too lazy to worry about getting a remote rig.

And CO2 can cause frost bite.

I have two remote set ups and I run both my "Classic" 'mags on remote, since I still use CO2. I have a 2+1 and a "left handed" 4+1 (bottle left, 4 right). The funny thing is back in the day when everyone and his sister had remotes, I always kept my bottles on gun.

I still run remote on one of my mags. I either use a Kamel pack or a tac vest to hold the tank on my upper back, then I run the hose over my shoulder. It doesn't get in the way for me then. Course that tank is a 114ci so it's good for woodsball/scenerio.

Oh, as a note, if you're going to run HPA remote on a RT or X valve, you probably need an adjustable one. You'll want to turn the output up a bit to prevent recharge issues in the line.

The output drops 200-250psi and doen't come back up fast enough for rapid fire. I've oiled, rebuilt, then sent it in to AGD and it still fires slow.
There is still something wrong with it. I've used my flatline to run a hyperframed mag at 20bps fullauto with no problems...

I use c02 not HPA and this is no different then setting up your own air system on the gun and all the parts were bought from a paintball store and I'd trust mine more then one you can buy. It also looks better and safer. there is no way you could tell it was home made. Ill get pics of it when I can.
