What is the deal with blind guns...

I work for 25bps. So I am really getting a kick out of most of these replies. Some of you guys are very good at making it sound like you know what you are talking about.

But trust me.... You don't.

I think you just want to make yourself sound smart, when in reality you don't know what you are talking about. This is how bad info gets passed around. If you don't know about the topic....Don't make yourself sound like you do.

Cuz some AOers will believe anything they read.

I am not going to say that eyes are a bad thing but it just seems like everyone MUST have eyes or no gun will do for them. The mag guys know that eyes are not everything and REDRT pretty much backed up what I said about the loaders...

Which gun would you take...
1. A level 7 Mag with Halo or B2K4 with PDS and vl200

2. Free Flow Matrix or Matrix with eyes both with halos

3. Angel LCD with intellifeed or B2K4 with PDS and Evo2

with eyes the different modes of fire are also capable of being had without breaking paint. try using psp mode without eyes, it really is a blender.

I would never buy a blind gun for a tourney gun. I don't care how fast your loader is, when it starts bobbling the last 10-15 shots in the hopper, there are going to be gaps in the feeding, and then you will likely chop paint. And then you will have a very bad day.

It just makes sense. You could apply your argument to most everything on a gun.... "Do you really NEED powerfeed? Classic works." "Do you really NEED a double trigger? I'm just as fast on a single."

I'm not saying lack of vision makes a gun complete crap... but it does put it at a disadvantage and I'm not in the habit of buying guns that have disadvantages as compared ot the rest of the market.

Ricker imported it over from Fark where it became a cliche. So now the cliche lives here. Only a handfull of people caught on that it is a cliche it seems.

i would never play a tournement with a blind gun...oh wait i did, but i had to lower the MROF and even then i chopped.


eyes give you the ability to slap on a revy, egg, or halo all in the same day without having to change mrof settings.

eyes give you the ability to be a little bit more confident when those last couple of balls are bubbling around.

eye.... i can use ramping without worrying.
try to shoot a constant ramp stream with no anti chop system.
