Z-Man your honesty is a true testiment to the honesty of the members of AO. Many of us here, including myself would have a hard time doing what you're doing, but it's refreshing to see that there are poeple in this world that are willing to do the right thing, I do hope that you do find the orginal owner. I'm sure that they will be happy to know it's been good hands for the last few months.

I am pretty sure I would know if I dropped $4-500 on a new toy. And there is only 1 drink I like and I am too cheap to buy it (because I blow it all on paintball markers and paintballs).

Actually, I did defeat an emag. Remember the one I took out with the Kila "indestructible" detents? And I had the detents shoot out of the gun after about 5 shots the first time I used it?

aww :) well I mean I could go back to that... I did always like the sigs. Adds that little personal touch to a post and well it makes it easy to see who posted at a glance.

I would very much like to talk to you about such interesting ideas. I've been thinking that 34bps is not very impressive for 2006 and it might be best to push into the mid 40's.

its amazing that all the cali guys cannot find the owner. zak, call up the field you guys played at, maybe a non ao or non internet person lost it there while playing with you guys. The field owner can ask people he knows or might be ablee to remember someone asking about a lost emag.

If I were in your shoes, I would consider that some people may look at this thread and think that I was just trying test the waters to see if the marker was reported stolen. Or, to see if anyone is around that has had theirs stolen before using it at a big event. It really is an unlikely story, one that could easily be construed to make you look guilty regardless the out come.

So, I think I would stay as far away from it as possible in order to protect my integrity. I would probably donate it to the Shatnerball event or return it to AGD.

You seem to be a guy with a lot of integrity, I would hate to see you drug through the mud over a misplace marker. Personally I would not like to be put in such an unfortunate situation.....

if i were in your shoes, i would tinker with it, customize it and fine tune the hell out of it. that way, you get to have fun playing with it, and when the owner shows up, he gets a well maintained marker that performs way better than when he had it last. its a win-win situation
