the thing is, if you go over the top of your bunker youre visible to the whole field. if you shoot out the side, you arent. its as simple as that. the top of the bunker isnt good for anything more than a few snapshots, even with a warp.

im wondering if i should even back up my point considering i know youre just PMSing.

of course a warp will give you a slightly smaller profile out of one side of the bunker but it greatly reduces your ability to shoot out of the other, and makes your setup overall larger, heavier and more cumbersome. if you dont use a warp but tilt your hopper into the bunker and push your barrel into the bunker you can also get a small profile though. and it really depends how you shoot, you can tuck your arm in fairly well much of the time.

      answer

So I guess the answer to my question is...waprfeeds are passe.

I'll still put one on my Minimag...I like them. My post wasn't meant to start a war over how "not good" a warp is...I was just amused that the guys at that field who have been playing for quite awhile A) Didn't know what a Warp was...and B) Really were impressed with it.

        They don't make sense.

They add weight and offset the balance of a gun. Not to mention they are another thing to break or slow down your marker. Anyone have a 12V Warpfeed with LED and on/off they would like to weigh for us?

Tilt your hopper towards the bunker while shooting. Sure, it puts a little more of your elbow out but that's what Nike armpads are for. (m4dbonz3rs!).

While shooting over the top of your bunker, which is rare, tilt your gun at a 45 degree angle to decrease your profile (heightwise). If you're shooting over a bunker anyways, you should be 100% certain that nobody is going to hit you. You're probably doing it to wrap up a game.

Go watch XSV play Dynasty. When those guys come out to snapshoot, all you see is their barrel and maybe an inch of their elbow. Whenever someone puts the tip of their hopper out it gets hit.

This guy has the basic idea.

Here's how you tilt your hopper in.

How hard is this to comprehend?

That's what I don't get about some people here. They live in their own little world where Tom Kaye is God and when you die you go to AGD in Illinois. I love AGD too, but if they were making unbelievably good products they'd be as big as Dye.

AGD makes quality products for a specific types of players. They are a niche market and most of their products are considered outdated by the general paintball community.

I gotta say, I love 'Mags and I'll love them forever ... with that being said, I just put together a new 'Mag for the Automag Owners of New England get together, and this one has Hyperframe and Warp Feed. It looks cool, but I agree with many of the poster, it's heavy, awkward, and I don't like how it throws off the ballance. Another thing for a lefty like me ... I won't be able to let my right handed friends borrow the marker now.
