You will not get that insurance money because it is not the post office's problem, it is between you and who you are trading with. Once the package is delivered and confirmed to the reciever, it is no longer their problem.

Nope, that insurance is only good if the marker was lost/damaged in shipping.

Did you have a shipping number for the marker? How do you know that he ever received the Micro-E? Sorry but once the USPS delivers the package, they've completed their end of the deal.

Even if the insurance came threw, you wouldn't see if for a long time. The post office requires something like 60 days to make sure it doesn't show up, and then you have to file the paper work inorder to claim the money.

But it doesn't matter in your case, if the package was delivered, the insurance is no good anymore.

I can imagine the look on everyone faces when there are 2 people hiding beside the door with bats, another in the bushes with some brass knuckles, and maybe another one of you on the roof ready to jump him... Only to find out that your Mom is calling you on the phone to come home because a package came in. LOL.

I know how you feel dude, it took about 7 weeks for my Hyperframe to finally come in from a "slow trader". But I found it was worth it.

Dont rush to conclusions unless you are 100% sure its a scam. As in you contact other people that traded with him abd found out they were scammed too.
