Short people are harder to hit.

Personally I dont think age is a huge factor, outside of being able to yell louder/run faster (in some cases) you're a much bigger target and it's damn hard to tire a 13 year old out. There are two 14 year olds at my field who are very good for their age..They're very fast runners and play tight to their bunkers, you have to get lucky to hit them on the run most of the time if it's not some insane distance.

Over all don't feel bad. It's not like you beat them at weight lifting or something where your age /physicallity actually matter...Their marker throws paint as fast as yours does. Being 20something does not make your shots go farther/faster/multiply...So over all you're pretty much on level ground.

Dont feel bad about shooting the young. I have a team of guys in their 20's and I am looking for younger guys because they are fast and insaine... A 15 year old kid is more likely to do a snake dive than a 29 year old guy with a beer gut.
ANd I wouldn't move out of your division unless I was forced out..When I started playign tourneys, we rolled in our first 3-man events, then something changed, and we started getting rolled..by everyone... even a team who's player's consisted of 2 kids with tippmans and their dad who was wearing jeans and a regular button up shirt.
I think that like with many sports, people play better against better teams and worse against bad teams...so if you get a reptation it will be harder to make the podium because people will be playing you harder
