Ok that is by far one of the coolest looking Phantoms I have ever seen! It IS a Phantom isn't it? Where did you get sweet body kit?

That's a Phantom with a Duckslide on it.

It's a Desert Duck knockoff kit to make your phantom look kinda like a DD.

Very neat little deals, but kinda hard to find (though not as hard to find as a real DD).

the bodies were at 7.5 amps for half an hour. But thats only cause i managed to get my hands on a nice 70's power supply for real cheap. its 30 amp 60 volt, can be tweaked for 35-40ish amps and 75 volts. a spyder body is about .5 square feet so if your doing it at home with a 12 or 6 volt battery charger i suggest 3 amps or less for 1-2 hours depending on your exact amperage and how thick you want it to be.

Theres something called the "720 rule" for determaining duration. It dictates that 720/asf * thinkness in mils=time in min

so if you were to do it at 6 amps per square foot which is the max you should be doing with a 12 volt power supply it would be 720/6*.5 or .75 becasue those are the optimal thicknesses for our application resulting in 1 to 1.5 hours.

sorry if that was too in depth.

Okay, cool. I'd heard of the 720 rule before, but I wasn't entirely sure about some of the values. Thanks a ton for explaining it.

Please pm me if your interested in having something done. I'm building a larger tank which i hope to have functioning by the end of the week and i have quite a few dyes comming in too.

So i will formally offer it in a week or two but i could probably do some before that.
