AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Gee, that was helpful...thanks a bunch for your kind words.
I read the thread - and things aren't completely cut and dry with where production stands. I was just posting my interest, and maybe a place in line if they are limited.
No need to be like that.
Well, if you read MY last post you might see what's going on:

Nope, sorry, I've been up to my eyeballs with real work for months now.
Then I got hurt in the machine shop.
So now I'm gimpy AND busy as hell.
No rest in sight.
If I EVER get a break AND I can find a machinist that isn't equally as busy, I'll get some made.
At this point I would not set aside food money to buy one.
WOW.
I post that I am unsure where production is (which, judging by BOTH of your posts, is pretty much where you are as well...UNSURE.)...and I get flamed?
Nice.
Just wanted to get in line for a frame - didn't realize I phrased my post so incredibly poorly.
Came out with 15 stitches and at least a month of being gimpy, maybe more.
Don't talk **** to your machine tools, they hold grudges.
Behemoths brother started talking trash to his dremel...
didnt end well for that poor am/mm rail that he was messing around with
/pics up once exams are over
//studying/ninja ao'ing at 1 am ftw
Im definitely interested in one, if they ever come into production again. It seems to me that this could be a rather large run of grips from the amount of interest

Oh no, that's not a large run. At best with the interest here, I could sell about 15-20.
A large run is 5000. A medium run is 750. A small run is 100. A very minimum run is 50.
Anything less than 50 is getting too expensive to sell and break even on.
Bottom line, the last run was 50, that one took seven months to move, and I lost money on them.
So, would you 15-20 guys be willing to pay $175 a piece for these frames? If the answer is yes, then I will get them cut, otherwise, I'll end up taking a loss on them.
I've already taken a grand hosing on the EMag frames, so I'd rather not run headlong into another debacle like that for a while.
