Well what i did was invest all my money into a nice looking gun and some decent googles. Think most people want a nice gun before they care what they wear.IMO I guess I should work on my gear now. I use a pod holder made of ducktape but it works great. Heres a pic:

sharpy drawings make it soo much cooler, i bet people look at you strange when you play, not saying its a bad thing or anything.

You know, I was actually seeing very much the opposite today at the field, there was a group of maybe 4 or 5 kids, all of them wearing dye c6 jerseys, pants, gloves, new invisions, and ATC's, but they were using lower end spyders, and such. One kids hopper was actually being held onto his spyder with duct tape, atleast three layers wrapped from the bottom of the gun over the top of the hopper.

yea, Im sure its just because they had been to the field that I tried for the first time today. The place chooses teams pretty much based on how you are dressed. (jersey and nice mask = you are good)

You can't play if you can't see. Just saying.
I agree completely, but most new players don't seem to realize that. My point was that most new players are on a budget as they haven't alloted quite as much money toward paintball as dedicated gun whores and therefore tend to focus on the gun instead of other equipment; i.e. you at the very least divide the money set foward up evenly instead of spending the majority on the stuff that matters most like the mask and therefore don't buy expensive clothing...and this really isn't reflected in the advertising.
                My feedback

Made in USA - it matters.

what ahellers was getting at, is that you were stating the same thing paintmagnet was, but saying it was the very opposite of what the conversation had been saying. Get it now? Welcome to post comprehension 101

I kinda read and worded things wrong, Im sorry, what I was trying to do was give a counter-example to what everyone else was saying about how paintmagnet was wrong, backing up his observation with a real life expirience
