The Blazer has a removable barrel. (It's held in clamp style like the older Tippmann guns)

Generally, not a bad idea. Several Paintball Pistols (new and old) have employed this method. Mags, a plethora of Sheridan based pumpers, and even a few cheap Brass Eagle items.

You probably could get away with this on a high-end/pro level gun IF you could convince the buying populace that the attached was superb.
