    Return of Automag Pumps?

From my observations of this forum, it looks like Automag Pumps are rising in popularity in the Automags.org community.

I've had mine for 2 years now, favoring pump play over semi now. It's always an attention getter and conversation starter at the field.

    I'm building one,
insanely small field paint made me dream of an open bolt pump. A pump mag is my only real option

They've been popular for awhile now. More so on SCP.

They're nice, but it wasn't the "butter smooth" some made it out to be.

I'll stick with my Sniper 2.

It's because pump play is supposedly making a resurgence...

I've seen the mag pumps and know how they work, but I have this one question: can you then quickly convert the mag BACK to semi-auto by just changing out the rail?

you don't have to change anything on the mag except remove the black bumper(replace with the standard blue one) and remove the wave spring. You can leave all the pump components intact...

Nice. I'll consider that when building/getting my mag (whenever that happens to be).

Pump play overall seems to be on the steady rise.

Even tho we made alot of fun of the guy that went to pump on our local field, i must admit its fun to do, and i bought a Maverick from him to join in on the action. It may not be a mag, but somehow pump play is really fun, even against mech markers. Maybe if i can get all the parts, i'll build a pumpmag, but not likely if i can pick up a maverick at 45 bucks a piece.

It is, around my neck of the woods at least.

A lot of people simply don't want to spend a fortune on a gun and paint every time they play...and a lot of us just want to have fun playing again. Except for AO New England I played pump exclusively all this year and it was fun as hell. The people who play tend to be pretty cool too, and that helps.

I've played with a 'Mag pump and I liked it alot, but something about taking a really nice semi auto and "forcing" it into a pump doesn't strike me as right. Now converting an Autococker back to a pump is doing the world a favor (c:

Then you likely didn't have it installed correctly.

                            When right , there's nothing more than a 1/2" of silky glide and then . . . 'click' .

Almost PA like , it's one of a P Mags strong points IMO.
