This was in the Scenario Section from a while ago. Got me a pair of the ORIGINAL SWAT Boots. Things are fantastic! Played the entire 06 Scenario season in them, perfect. Like Sneakers but built into a boot.

Doc Martens are the best boots I have ever had on my feet. They are pricey, but give exceptional grip and wear.

For the price I like Magnums, but they are a bit hard after a little wear.

magnium boots, i have a pair of the stealth boots (they are techinaly under the law enforcement/ uniform boots but they do a good job)

great great boots, after 3 years of heavy use and not even really caring for them they only thing that has happened (knock on wood) is a lace broke)

they kept me from snaping my ankle becasue of the support they gave me (not the best support to many but they work great for me) infact they even kept me from loosing step during that mis step (jumped into a very very large ditch that i thought was less than 2 feet deep when it was probably closer to 4-5 feet deep and landed with my foot tilted to the side anbd it just poped it down straight and i kept going perfectly.)

i wear merrel hiking boots. theyre waterproof and pretty light and i can wear them all day. i used my pair back in 2003 for a hiking trip in new mexico and have used them for paintball since then and im just now looking at getting a new pair.

EDIT:
I wear an 11.5 B. First time I ever got a boot with the right width and that really made a difference.

I just wear standard issue dutch military boots for paintball. (and i wear em casually aswell) Just make sure you maintain em well with some shoe polish and/or leather grease to maintain the waterproof properties of those boots. I've had the cheap jungle boot style ones, but those are just as waterproof as a siff. Leather boots are the way to go, great ankle support and waterproof if you maintain em well, and pretty durable. The only backdraw is you have to "break them in" but after that they are very comfortable.

If your looking for "Duty " type boots I would go Magnums for cost and weight, Danners for Quality , Bates For Value , Oakley for Comfort , Converse for near sneaker like comfort , Value and LIGHT weight.
I have worn them all...I still wear my Bates "Sniper" boots at work.Danner's for the office work. Converse are the Back ups in case the other 2 get to looking like hell.
I'm not sure exactly what you want when you play so...I go back to my Duty stuff when I think paintball.

Now that being said....

If your looking for comfy all day, water proof, mid top ,warmer than a wool blanket, Great grip on most outdoor turfs...Try the Keen Growler. THey come in 3 color combos.
I hunt in these,walk around town all day and through the hills like the Germans through France.


I own Danners,Magnums,Bates, Oakleys, Converse ,511 and ...if Keen made their shoes in full leather that could take a polish...I'd NEVER buy another set of boots other than Keens Growlers.
They are a bit pricey...$140 ISH online. But SOOOOO worth it.
I wear these at my all day "range" training and NEVER have an issue. Shooting,scooting,running,kneeling....etc etc.
No sore feet, No sore lower back, Lots of ankle support , Warm, waterproof and traction like the bastard child of an Abrams tank and mountain goat.

through summer and winter i wear my workboots all year that i also wear for work on the farm and for playing paintball and lacrosse
i recomed going to your local work cloths shop (Mark's for me but i dont know that they exist in the US) and getting 9'' steel toe boots
