#1 You are what we call a noob, which is slang for a new player that doesn't know to much about paintball. You happen to have some high tech gear that you neither deserve nor understand. Your friends and you are basically one step above those kids at the field that you saw.

#2 Noobs call ELIMINATIONS "kills". Your insistance will be considered a admission of noobishness.

#3 You are arguing with people who are so much more experienced than you, that their brains function on superior oxygen that you are unworthy to breath. This is frowned upon in most social organizations as is cannibalism.

And BTW whoever said to stop making paintball sound like a "war game", needs to quit, because that's what paintball obviously is.

Are you serious?? did you honestly mean that when you said it? Paintball is not a war game! if you really want to get technical about it in all reality it is classified as a "shooter Tag sport" not a WAR GAME, war games are what the Military uses to train their soldiers for actual battle.

we would be throwing paintballs at each other instead of shooting them out of guns. Why do we call it shooting? dosen't that have alot to do with guns?

Actually Paintball started with something called a "paint marker" from the very beginning, They were originally used to "mark" cows that were going to be sold by "shooting" them with a "ball of paint" hmmmmmm.......where did we get the term paintball I have to wonder??? why do we call it a marker again??? it couldn't have had anything to do with where the paintball marker originally came from could it????

And since paintball is a war game reguardless of what you want it to be, I will say KILLS, SHOOTING, and anything else that keeps paintball the way it was meant to be. Say elimination if you want, go ahead.

The way it was meant to be??? The first real game of paintball ended with the winner having never fired a shot. the only reason they used markers to begin with was for a visible marking system to indicate that one person had eliminated that player form being able to "capture the flag" That's right Don, the first "real" game was one big capture the flag game. *well not the FIRST but the first game involving more than 2 people.* Is capture the flag A war Game? not that I know of. just thought I'd chime in on this, I am glad that you had fun this weekend, but please there is no need to be too ignorant when somewhen criticizes you.
