You know I tried to give up flaming DM in the hopes that he would improve. But if he hasn't by now, he never will.

arms, as between nations or between parties within a nation; warfare, as by land, sea, or air.Originally posted by shorty2418 elims in...7 hours?! Not something to boast about, unless suckitude is the new agg...
Also, I'm glad you had a fun day of paintball, but please stop being stupid. If that's possible.
we are shooting at each other with weapons, paintball guns are not "toys (as in child's plaything)" and we are shooting at each other with the use of arms (in this case paintball guns). When you see the famous oklahoma dday scenario game, does paint ball seem more like a sport or a war-game? when you go to any scenario game, does paintball seem like a war-game then? When I play any kind of paintball, there are 2 (or more) teams shooting at each other, making somewhat of a warfare scenario.
I want ARMY's opinion on this... ARMY, do you condiser paintball a war-game? or a sport? or both? out of anyone, he should know.Comment

You just don't know when to shut up, do you?
Paintball isn't a war game.
It isn't a sport.
It's a GAME.
A Paintball marker is NOT a weapon.
(Anything however, can be used as such, regardless of the intent of the design, product, item, etc)
A Scenario game is just that, a scenario.
You have no Idea what War is like, let alone a war game.
You hurt my brain so much I can't even muster up the thought to flame you.
I'm just going to stop right here and let everyone else do it.Comment

Well there are no arms being used, there is no warfare, and there is not two nations or parties within a nation. Teams do not count as parties in my book, not in the way it pertains to the definition.
So it is NOT a wargame.
You really expect DM to comprehend that? That was very well written.Comment

so why don't you paint you face and go out there in full camies. call the other team the enemy, call your pod a magazine, centerfield the frontline, the tape the border, salute your team captain and call him sir, fall on the ground and scream for a medic when you get hit, carry your players off the field, bps bullets per sec, you get the idea.Comment

DM omg you are either very stupid or very young. You should just learn to shut up.
I was in the Army Infantry and I'll tell you that paintball is not a war game. How many paintball tactics do you think they are using over there in Irag or Afganistan? Some Infantry moves can be used in paintball (woods ball), but in general combat tactics will get you eliminated in paintball and paintball tactics in war will get you killed.
Maybe its good for peoples ego to think that its a war game. It makes them feel tough and that they could hack it in a war. Dont pump yourself up with a silly fantasy. Go volunteer and do the real thing. Even the training is more intense and dangerous than paintball.
Oh and a paintball gun or marker isnt a weapon unless you hit someone over the head with it.Last edited by 11 Bravo; 01-16-2007, 01:05 AM.Comment
