In years of playing, I actually know of two current regular players at the few fields I frequent. I have seen private groups out playing, and the occasional rental player.

I just wondered if it was a "crazy white boy thing"....

99% Of black people, locally, work at 6 dollars an hour in a crappy greenhouse. They can't afford to play paintball.

It just seems to me that some actitvites appeal to certain ethnic groups and some don't.

As far as the whole economic remark the guy above me metnioned, I don't think it's true. The majority of people around my area that play work at minimum wage jobs and spend more on paintball than on living. Don't ask me how it works...

Well, if you want to think about it, this whole thread was started on a basis of racisim. Right? I mean we are speculating on why people of certain genetic heritages don't come out to play with "the rest of us."

In my case most of the local greenhouse workers spend as little as possible as they return to jamaica after 18 months quite wealthy men. I've been told that working 6 months here and returning home that the guy could easy buy a house. Locally it's a matter of priorities I'd think

There are guys from China that come to the field alot who work similar jobs, how ever none plan to return to China.

Maybe it's because there are relatively few "african americans" where I am and more Jamaicans

any black ive ever talked to about paintball look at me like I just put fireworks in my pants and then lit them (dane cook ftw). Its like Jackass, ever see any blacks on that? white people are just wealthier, and therefore have more time on their hands than they know what to do with so they fill it with "crazy hobbies"
