Technically, most "racist" comments today are stereotyping not racist. I've talked to some blacks about playing and they said they don't want to get shot, so I guess that's it.

I have only ever been privy to seeing 2x black players ever playing paintball, but that is more than I've ever seen swim. In swim qual I learned many black men don't swim well, they just sink! Many times a rock has a better chance of staying afloat...

We don't have many african american's in Utah, but we have several Asian and Hispanic players. My best friend and a fellow paintballer is a crazy Italian boy. JK Love ya Danny

EVERYONE notices difference. It is in our genetics, its natural. To say that you are racist just because you have powers of observation and know how to thoughtfully process them does not consitute racism....although a lot of people now days would like to believe so.

My intrest is that there are a large untapped group of people who don't play. I was curious as to what is the turn off....how can we gain more intrest from that segment?

Hi, We only have a couple black players in my area, both can & will hand you your head then shake your hand after. Having a few black friends where I live I asked a couple about playing. One had & said that he didnt like the pain, the other didnt get why most of us play. He said he looked at it as a crazy /redneck whiteboy thing. I lived in SOCAL until I was 12 & when I talk to my buddies from back then several have played but stated it just wasnt for them (we were the token white family in a hispanic/black area).
I believe its more of a culture & money thing.

I don't know how to break this to you but you can't rent black kids anymore - its illegal in the US...

In my case most of the local greenhouse workers spend as little as possible as they return to jamaica after 18 months quite wealthy men. I've been told that working 6 months here and returning home that the guy could easy buy a house. Locally it's a matter of priorities I'd think

There are guys from China that come to the field alot who work similar jobs, how ever none plan to return to China.

Maybe it's because there are relatively few "african americans" where I am and more Jamaicans

Have you been to Jamaica? Buying a house there can mean anything from a seaside mansion to two pieces of wood waiting for cinderblocks to hold them up...
