Yo,I just wanted to tell this story.We(my team)were at out local field this weekend and there were TONS of angels there.Well my team consists of totally mags.one game was us vs. angels.I swear we tore the angels Up that game.I know the sayin,it aint the gun its the person behid the gun.Well i tell ya,there were sum pretty good ppl bhind those angels.I wouldn't trust any other gun bsides my RT against a gtoup like that.Just wanted to say that.goes to show ya that the 'mag CAn hang wit the best of um!!!!WOOT WOOT

YAY MAGS! i agree with the player meaning more than the gun but doesn't that work in our favor since mags aren't as much money as angels. (if it's an auto or mini anyway)

btw i shot out a guy with an angel (note that i didn't say i shot out an angel ) he was a good player and a super nice guy. he knew that i was a newbie and he made a huge deal of the fact that i shot him out. it was a one shot kill deal. he had just run across the field and hid behind a bunker. he didn't know that i could see his pack and part of his back sticking out. so after the game he comes up to me he's like "wow that was a great shot! i didn't even know you were there. you were really tight in there. i need to lose some weight so i can get tighter in my bunker" and he went on like that for the longest time. great guy. i hope i see him again.

I own a Angel, I have been shot out by rental spyders. I also own my mag which i mainly use for rec ball. So, its not that big of a deal. But, good job.

why does everyone boast about shooting someone? it happens ALL the time, its kinda what this game is all about

maybe im just missing something but im tired of these threads saying how they shot some angel, GOOD FOR YOU
get over it, chances are youll be shot by some rental OR get raped by an angel, its happened and will continue to happen to people
play enough and it will happen to you

It doesn't matter what gun it is... You really just need skill and a pretty nice gun to be a force to be reconed with; mag, angel, cocker, bushy, impulse, phantom, heck... even a completely tricked out spyder would be a challenge if the opponent is formidable...

any one can get shot out. and about the coment envolving "even a spyder" i Know it isnt a exact quote. i had a friend that started out with a spider in ninty six. when a couple of guys baught cockers and i baught my mag (yes i was the only one to buy a mag over a cocke and im proud of it.) the guy kept his spider and tricked it out. that spider could keep up with the rest of our guns in speed and acuracy. im geting kinda tired of reading subtle coments bashing spyders. And no i dont own one.

cliffio-i can see where you're coming from, but lighten up. people get excited over these kind of things. i'm sure you did, i know i did. it's all something we go through till we realize that the gun isn't really everything. let him have his fun in the sun. it's not that big of a deal.

In that case, Bad Company deserves a whole bag of cookies, Chocolate Chip infact. LoL.

In an untacful way, Cliffio is right. Its come to the point where if you have a high (or higher end marker than everyone else), you are almost forced to defend ypur honor. If some lower end gun tags you, the guy gloats about it (like here), your friends give you crap, and a sense of shame haunts you. Ive raped some shocker and angel owners, there are also phantom ans shutter owners that have owned me with a passion on some days where I just pack it up and go home.

On the other hand, I would think that Cliffio was a little harsh on RTluver. I would have been supportive. You cant tell some newb who just shot out some players in their first ever paintball game: "thats nice, you think you're so good, why dont you hop into the advanced group, youd get raped!" Not something that would make them feel too accomlished about their efforts.

Now as we all know many tourney/pro players own high end guns and we all know they obviously get bunkered and out so so so many times. Does this make them newbs? really cmon think before you post thats like saying omg look that guy got taken out by an autococker He sux and plus he does suck cause its and angel!!!!

Really if angels are not so good then why is it so big when people take out people who are shooting them . Im a former mag owner (my whole paintball life) owned a cocker (elves are bad luck).....now own a bushy...and if i get out by people that i use to get out when i had a mag make me a newb since I own an electro.
I deserve a cookie...btw what if people get out with emags? Huh? Huh?
