Okay I wanna drop my $.02 here.
I going to go against the grain here and not defend cliffio. Why do I not defend his response....simple, not a damn thing made him read that post....no one put a gun to his head and said read this or die. Instead he choose to read it and came into it with a pre-determined mind-set that all post of this kind are B$ and a waste of time. Now if this post had been inserted into an on-going thread and was off topic, then I would say he was in the right. Instead this was someone elses thread, in which he wished to express his joy about getting someone out. It happens and its going to happen all the time as long as there are new players to the sport. We have all done it, and we all still do, all though at this stage we probably talk a little more smack and with a lot more attitude then when we were new players.
Saying "I shot out this guy who had a with my !!" does not make you a new player. Tearing apart the poor guy because your tired of volunteraly reading their posts, not to mention displaying your well honed-on-the-kindergarten-playground responses, instead of a more adult approach, well that just makes you an ***.

But thats my $.02 ...

It's okay to defend the attitude Cliffio took, it's also okay to speak against it. We all have our own demons to deal with. Just as an FYI...I did a victory dance when I shot my first "tourney" player. It just so happened to be one of the Bob Long Ironmen, and it was in the staging area after he shortenend my Timmy's trigger. D'OH!

Needless to say, he wasn't too pleased but it was pretty funny in retrospect...btw his shoe recovered from my shot just fine.

Gosh?!So many negatory comments.What I meant by posting this was that our team had a lil skill.Every one's like ur a new team,bet u've never had any REAL competition.Well,I was just saying that we are PRETTY good.not gloating that I shot an angel,just being proud to be able to say that we might last in a competitive tourny.thats all.

I too have brought in many people. If you play paintball in my town, at one point or another in one form or another, you have talked to me. i bring in like 10 people eache year.... ( its alot cause most parents dont want kids to have guns around here)

The post seems fine to me. What I got from his post was not that he was gloating that he shot out Angels so much as a testament to the quality of AGD guns... what exactly is the harm in that? To be completely honest many paintball players out there still hold a stigma that the Automag is fading out and cant keep up anymore with the new Hi Tech guns being produced. Now, RT was simply showing how he was able to show that that belief perhaps dosent really hold water, even if it was for just one day. I really cant find fault with someone posting that. IMHO

why does everyone boast about shooting someone? it happens ALL the time, its kinda what this game is all about

get over it, chances are youll be shot by some rental OR get raped by an angel, its happened and will continue to happen to people

I shoot a Emag and been playing for 2 years. ive been raped and ive given the rapings but i alwasy recive more than i do give :). i remember getting raped by a Stingray oh good times!

RT_Luver, forget what they are saying, great job. The fact is, 90% of the Angel owners on this planet have an inflated ego. That is what makes them so fun to shoot. They think that just because they paid over $1000 for a totally STOCK Angel, they are the best. Get raped by an Angel? HAHAHAHA!! No. I'm not affraid of getting "raped" by some Angel. I have only been playing for about 2 1/2 years, play mostly in Maryland, and quite a few Angel owners down there fear me. I play people with 10 years or more of experience, and I wax them. Anyone can be good. But think about it. If you have an Angel, you have probably been playing for a while. And if you have been playing for a while, you probably know how to handle yourself in a game. Well this guy he is talking about left his pack stick way out in the open. Thats pretty bad. RT_Luver, keep shooting up Angels, and great work. Spread the message that Mags can not only hang with the best, but are the best.

So, yes, Cliffio, I think you are a bad sport. You can't let someone go and say anything bad about Angels. There have been threads on here before bashing them, and you immediatly start posting. Why don't you let him alone, or just leave all together, seeing as how this who forum must be filled with newbies, and we all know how far you are above us lowly newbies.

In the end, I think Angel owners feel threatened by RT's, because they know RT's are serious beasts. I played in an amature open in Florida last summer, teams like Myth where there (Jax Warriors splinter team) and a bunch of other seriously good teams, and every time I walked by one of them who had an Angel, they looked at my gun like "Oh God, the last time I saw one of those, I got a million welts."
Oh, and Kenny Clamper from Aftershock was there too.
