I admittedly know nothing about the shoeboxes but there has to be a way to overcome that. New noids? I dunno?

why bother at that point. for the cost of the new noids, modification work to fit them, and the mini-morlock you can most likely find a 04 shocker lol

Tinkering doesn't need a point, that's why it's tinkering. As for why bother, the typical answer is because you can.

That must have been a direct result of the board (which I don't see how it could be).
