    Hey, welcome to AO!
I used to run an RT-pro (turned it into an e-mag) they work beautifully. Mechanical mags can be short stroked, but it's not hard to get used to the trigger pull. If your LXvalve is tuned right, you will just chuff the ball and keep going. It's kind of like an anti-chop system. As long as your ball detents work, you shouldn't have to worry about double feeding, and the mag will re-cock itself. I hope this helped a little.
    I can't feel my toes . . .

I've been editing this post in the last hour...ehhh, sorry. I've been googling "short stroking" for the mag and haven't really found the answer I'm searching for. OK - when the cocker short stroked, one most likely chopped an paintball. With a mag, is it similar? Not pulling the trigger back far enough? Is this issue really an issue anymore with the lvl 10 and ule trigger, etc, etc.? I know with the cocker shortstroking usually meant the marker de-cocking itself and then two balls loading? Does the mag ever de-cock itself? (How much dumber can I really sound lol?)
You're right about the rail. The body sits on top and the trigger frame on the bottom. The rail houses the sear assembly and the vert ASA screws.

As for the short stroking, it can be done, but differently from a 'Cocker. I won't get into that because I don't quite know what happens, but with a Lvl 7 bolt, you're almost guarenteed to chop at that point; with a tuned Lvl 10, no worries!

I've been playing with a Lvl 10 Automag for about 5 or so years now and I have only broken a ball once (and I'm almost positive it was the barrel).
Autocockers are the greatest markers ever made.

Only temporary, get'n a new sig soon.

The only breaks I've had in the past year were because of:

        1) Using the wrong freak insert.
        2) Detent not in enough, causing my halo to double feed and breaks to happen.

The level ten is amazing like that. I've never had an in-gun break.

You know in the old days when people used to say mags were blenders , alot of that came from people short stroking the triggers being that you have shot cockers for so long you probably will have not issues there also with a properly tuned level ten it will just reset the bolt and you are ready for the next shot .
