Sam, we are in your corner buddy. We sure do remember the good times at the Music City tournaments. Our team SWARM always enjoyed visiting Nashville and participating in yours & Jim's events. You WERE always the man to talk to with any questions, problems, or whatever came up. We have also enjoyed your company traveling around the United States and across the pond. Still we cherish the fond memories of our first trip to England and playing the exibition games against the British elite teams. We also have talked many times about the one seven man game that we played against you and you were the last man left on your team. I believe to this day, that was the fastest loss of a seven man team in the woods in paintball history!! LOL I think Tim Schloss said it best...he said, "We smoked your team like a cheap carnival cigar!" Memories of the times we had and the places we have been far surpass anything we were trying to accomplish back then. I know I will never forget the times we have had and always value your friendship.
Good luck. Our thoughts and prayers are always with you.

          Much Love,

          Chip & Diane Kuhrt

I just returned from the funeral for my father-in-law, who died of acute leukemia. I never realized how draining emotionally and physically cancer can be, and thats just from watching a loved one suffer from it. I wish you the best through this time of hardship. I hope now the paint ball community can give back a little of what you gave them.

Although I know of your name only in passing, reading thru the posts paints a clear picture of one of our sports "good guys" on and off the field.

I think, to have earned the respect of so many is no small feat indeed.

Good luck, stay strong, and, as my grandfather always told me...

                      Keep The Faith.

Anyone who has had such a positive impact on our sport as Tom says they have deserves my prayers and respect.

God bless ya Sam, you're in my prayers.

Tom, since Sam won't answer his phone, maybe we could organize giving him a card or some kind of gift through you.

The folks on Pbn actually have responded with their deepest sympathy. If Pbn and AO got together to let Sam know how much he is appreciated, I think it would make him feel really good.

That is a great idea. Hey Tom, is there some way we could send cards to "you" and have them forwarded to Sam?
