Chaos_Theory!
Here are the pics. More info is prob needed. If these indeed did exist it seems that PBN would know about it and ive never seena anything about it on there. Aurora can be done w/o the process used on the rare guns they have done before, maybe thats the case here. Im pretty sure its not a site based out of the US. The prices in the classifieds are also insane which leads me to believe its not in US dollars (but i may be wrong).

Mommy...........
I've contacted PE LOTS of times asking about the Aurora finish, and have always been shot down. They've given me different reasons (which we've all heard), plus they've told me that they can't even get it done any longer. I guess they found a way.....
However, as amazing (I have two guns with it) as I find the finish 5-7 grand is crazy-talk. I've been in contact with bawitheba here on AO several times, and last I heard he had a guy who could do the Aurora finish WAY cheaper and with a 100 percent success rate. I haven't spoken to him for a while, or even seen him on AO for some time. He mentioned doing accent kits for Egos specifically, but I don't know if he ever followed through.
Maybe I should drop him a line sometime. Hmmmmm.........

My bad....the prices I indicated I believe are Australian dollars, since I got the info from an Aussie website.
ta2maki - The processs is called spectrum physical vapor disposition that requires between 20,000 and 40,000 volts to pass through the pieces. Unfortunately, this process is harsh on aluminium and there is like a 90% failure rate, which is why paintball markers with this finish are rare and expensive.
This would explain the insane price of the ego pictured above. Unless, Eclipse have found another and safer way to do it...but I doubt it. As the only other alternative ways I've seen it done, don't look as nice as that.

I've seen automotive paint like this too...it almost looks like you could achieve similar results with a propane blowtorch if you knew what you were doing
