"pwnd" came from "owned" which basically came from "to own".
Long story short, it all means that you got beat. Most of the time it means you got beat pretty badly. All in all its just another slang term that leads kids into thinking that kicking teh snot out of someone is far cooler than having respect for.....well, anything.

but now everytime you use the word...you owe sp 50 bucks.

Wow, SP really has no ethics as a company do they? I can understand copyrighting material, titles or names but slang? Especially slang that has been around for several years now.

not only did they not start those slang words but they arent even used very often for merchandising. this was a pretty pointless copyright.Comment
