First, I should probably disclose that I own (and love) an RT and I have never fired an Intimidator. However, I have talked to several players at my local field that use timmies and they all seem pleased with it.

Rate of Fire -- I would probably say that the timmy will give you a little higher rate of fire due to its electronic (frequently described as mouseclick) trigger, however the RT is still extremely fast, and without question the fastest of the fully manual markers.

Reliability -- The RT wins hands down. There is almost no problem that a $25 parts kit won't fix on an RT. The design is elegant simplicity and the craftsmanship and materials used are both superb. Just compare the material used in the main body -- stainless steel vs. aluminum.

Size -- The RT is significantly smaller than the Timmy.

Grip -- New RTpros come with the Intelliframe. I had an older RT pro and upgraded to the intelliframe. I have to say that I love the feel. Some people really like the timmy grip as well, but I have also heard one or two people say that they don't like the grip. Definitely pick both markers up before you buy to see if you like the feel.

Manufacturer -- AGD is one of the best companies I have done business with, in or out of paintball. Bob Long also has a great reputation.

Maintenance -- Again the RT has to win hands down. You can gas it up and swirl it in a bucket of water. DO NOT try that with a Timmy.

Chopping -- The rate of chopping is highly overstated for the RT. You WILL chop when you first get the gun, but after a couple of trips you will "learn" the trigger and it will cease to be a problem. Alot of the older RT's chopped because of a less than optimally designed power feed plug, but that problem has since been corrected. The timmy still comes out ahead in this category due to the anti-chop eye, which makes it impossible to chop.

These are just my personal impressions from owning an RT and talking to Timmy owners. I hope they help. Either way you will have a great marker, but I am exceedingly pleased with my RT.

    Bust of luck!
