    Sterling Soveriegn III

Any one shot one of these ?

I am tempted to get one of the of the STP pumps

I contacted them directly in January 1st to find out where I could get one.
May 13th I finally got a response from a local rep in the same area code as I am
telling me I could just get one from him.
    Better nate then lever ?

I'll take a lever action over nate any day :/

Haven't shot them personally, but heard marvelous things about the Sterlings. The Soveriegns are like cockers with the ram in the bolt and everything all turned around

I think the title should read "II", not "III" unless there is a 3rd version out that I don't know about? They are quite cool. I have a v2 and had a v1. The v2 is more refined than the v1, and has a vert feed. Hoses on the side are not so bad-- compare it to a cocker front block mess.

For some reason the cycle speed is not as fast a cocker can be.. there is something about the rambolt configuration that is sluggish. 10bps might max it out...

On the Arrow Precision page it does say Sovereign III. Maybe they're rereleasing it along with the sterling

I love my GenII Sterling. Only tricky part is finding barrels for it, got a Dye UL out of a parts bin a while back.
God....I guess I was probably returning videotapes.

What marker are the barrels threaded to ?
I am thinking about getting one of the STP pumps.
I find the I get the best accuracy with a .687 bore barrel.

I bought one of the Sterling STP Stock Class markers through someone on SCP a few months ago. Other than a little difficulty with the hardline, it's performed excellently. I use it with the horizontal feed and a 3.5oz tank, and I prefer playing with it than with my viking. Sad really...

Excellent marker. A little pricey, but definitely worth it imo.

How much is the stock class pump? There is no prices, or even a place to buy it.

I am serious, how durable are these things? It looks to me like one hit would take your marker out for the day. Are they tougher than they look or...

I bought mine from dc6543210 off www.stockclasspaintball.com I don't know if he's still selling them, but he had several new ones for awhile. You can also check ebay. I htink it ran me somewhere around $350?

So it's what? A cocker with the ram in the body? Looks a tad strange but with the other great guns they make I guess this will be just as good.
