AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Yea, i still can't wait...just gettin ancy over here...but with his pursuit of perfection for the frames im really anticipating a flawless product...so the delays aren't SO bad in my mind...but mid april would be great...i have been talking this frame up to all my friends...
now they are all like..so where is it : P
I LOVE MAGS :hail: ...and hate low pressure output tanks....and :shooting: spyders
its not about overstepping bounds, it should not be my or any consumers responsibility to seek them out for an update or explanation onw why things are where they are now.
but i have to admit a small aprt of me would rather just complain and be sinicle(spl)
Hey,
I don't want to scare anyone with me selling my spot. I am happy to post my reasons here if it gives others re-assurance. I recently made a trade and have played the last 3 times out with a brand new Macdev Droid. Plain and simply I love the marker, and haven't touched any of my backup markers since, except one of my pumps and one viking that I love dearly. I thought it over and I am just tired of having my mag in pieces. (I sold my emag lowers to get this frame). None-the-less, I decided I would prefer a mech mag and would get more use out of it that way. I have plenty of markers that shoot fast, and I can up the input pressure if I want this one to have the RT effect.
As for G-force, I do believe they are going to make these frames. I do not believe you have much to worry about. The problem I had is that Garf refused to let me know exactly what they had completed, what they had left to complete, or any sort of timeline for getting them done. He kept saying that if he gave a timeline then he would have to rush to make it and release a product that's not up to his measure of perfection. He also kept mentioning that a frame like this typically should have a year of testing & prototyping to get a perfect frame out. He gave those expected ship dates knowing full well that he would never meet them. I do not think that's fair for the buyers. I do believe he is going to come out with a good product, but his business ethics need a lot of work.
I've mentioned this before and I will again, I would not expect another timeline from Garf. He's already mentioned to me that he does not want to rush the product and that's what he expects will happen if he puts a timeline to have it done. Apparently the other timelines he gave were just for giggles.. as he had no intention of ever meeting them, and knew when he gave them that they would not meet them. Our only choice is to request a refund or wait.

do we want to wait until gforce decides they are satisfied with a product or what.
i think we need to put some pressure on them, this has gone on long enough, if we have not all recieved our product by the end of April we all need to be demanding refunds, anyone who doesnt or hasnt expressed distaste is asking to be taken.
garf himself has said they are making little to no money on these, which leads me to think this is not a high if even a priority to get done when they likely have other large machining contracts.
those of you who are waiting without complaing, how long are you willing to do so?
my main problem is someone colelcting interest of my money as well, atleast if my money was sitting in a bank i would have earned af ew pennies off of it.
well im very impatient so i reluctantly sent an email
here it is for record and so others see what i sent
Garf, or whom it may concern.
A large number of us have paid for a product on the faith in a company who has little to no credibility and track record as far as releasing paintball products in the past. The project has gone through several delays and alterations in design and function from what was also originally discussed. I would like some straight answers as to where we are on this project. What exactly needs to be done, and why hasn't it been done or what needs to be done to allow this
As you likely already know we are long past the paypal refund date and past the 90 days for most credit card disputes and since you are not in the US we are left with little to no assurances that we will receive a product or at the very least a refund.
I also understand the refusal to not post in the original thread, however leaving customers in the dark and requiring them to contact you is unfair to ask of a consumer who has done their part in the purchase agreement.
I agree with chronobreak about the "end of april" deadline. if i dont see my frames by then im all for taking action. but were going to need to see some people chime in here with support. not just 1 or 2 of us.
