I'm sure its not 'dead', but, like the Norwegian Blue Parrot, sometimes it likes to rest on the bottom of its cage. I'll see what I can find out.VENGEANCE PAINTBALL DISTRIBUTORS

I got one of that last batch of Micro's .
Since I built the Phoenix I have put the Micro up on the chopping block.
Dont need two high end mechs, especially seeing how I've been playing pump more than anything lately.
But yet deep down not really wanting to sell it, its not yard sale priced either.

Several of you asked and I am now prepared to deliver an update.
But now, for something completely different (that's for the Python fans)
I spoke to Forest today. They're running 3 shifts at the machine shop right now and have begun to catch up; the way Forest described it, they're about two thirds of the way to getting the shop running at the production levels they need to be at in order to start running "other" jobs again.
That doesn't mean they're two-thirds of the way to finishing up micro-mags - it means that their internal practices and efficiencies are 2/3rds of the way to being where they want them to be.
Forest is still working on the project - putting some occassional time into settling in on exactly what he wants it to be.
Fortunately, none of you have been asked to put any money down in advance, so no one is being held hostage; no delivery dates have been promised, so no one has to listen to delay excuse after excuse and, perhaps best of all, PTP owns all the necessary intellectual property to produce what they're going to make, so once you do get one, you won't have to worry about someone taking it away from you as a result of a court order once you do have it.
And YES, that was a reference to other situations elsewhere, where I'm not a customer and therefore am not allowed to speak on that particular subject. Of course, pretty much everyone would know what I was going to say anyway...
And now, the Larch.VENGEANCE PAINTBALL DISTRIBUTORS

Thanks for the input. Now, regarding what you said on the last couple of paragraphs, I do know of several cases on the first situation you mentioned:

Sorry for the ignorance and, as I don't want to dirupt this topic objective, can anyone PM me with an example of that? I got really curious about it :rofl:Originally posted by rabidchihauhau...PTP owns all the necessary intellectual property to produce what they're going to make, so once you do get one, you won't have to worry about someone taking it away from you as a result of a court order once you do have it.

mere hyperbole. Although companies can be compelled to destroy product in inventory and to make their best effort to remove product from the marketplace.Originally posted by mpsdThanks for the input. Was that really necessary?Comment

Can't we all just get along. I hope one day soon, we will have the new PTP bodies and everyone will be happy. I know, after talking with Tracy at PTP, many companies copied and stole ideas and creations from PTP. That is no fun at all. I hate it when people do it to me and i am sure that everyone can relate.
Just remember, this is a FUN thread and i hope that it becomes reality, soon.Comment

Necessary?
I suppose not.
But show me the posting rules that state that every statement in a post must be 'necessary' - and then show me the criteria such 'need' is based on.
Necessary as far as the reader is concerned? Necessary as far as the poster is concerned? Necessary as far as some panel of internet judges is concerned?
Hey - its not necessary to offer as-yet non-existent product, and its not necessary for people to sit around forever waiting for their orders to be filled, although it ought to be necessary to ask for a refund in such cases. Its also not necessary to sue someone for patent infringement - its not even necessary to file a legitimate patent these days, but it does seem necessary for the PTO to issue illegitimate ones. Its not necessary for you to read my posts and its not necessary for me to shut up - no matter what some may think.
Don't get me started on what's necessary and what's not, because if you really want to know, I'll tell you.VENGEANCE PAINTBALL DISTRIBUTORS

That pot is already stirred and most of us already saw that thread too.Originally posted by rabidchihauhauDon't get me started on what's necessary and what's not, because if you really want to know, I'll tell you.
All I want to see are words to the effect of, "Just spoke to Forest and here's the design [insert img]! All for only $100! Included is the 3 feed system, rebuldable detents, and custom ano--incluing your choice of barrel! Send your money now! The first 100 orders will receive matching ano for their valves at no additional cost! If you don't have an X-valve one will be provided for you!
"
Or maybe just, "We're ready to go with this [insert img]!" But I prefer the first option.Stay Classy, AO...BEO: RIP / Topgun Paintball: RIP / Old MCB: RIPComment

Like I've been saying - standards are different.
Your desired announcements - or something substantially similar to them - will be made when the committment can be honored - not before.
If you do order one, you'll get product back: not excuses that production will be commencing, and then another announcement of the same, and then another, and then another.
Whe you order one - all the parts will have already been made - and they'll all work together. There won't be any need to 'test fit' "multiple options" and they'll already have been to the anodizer.
But now you guys are gonna harp. Go ahead.VENGEANCE PAINTBALL DISTRIBUTORS

People can say what they want. I have dealt with PTP on a couple of occasions. They have been great and I love the products they make. One of few survivors left making real products in America and selling them as such. The micromag bodies have at least doubled my taste for mags. When you are ready I will be ready for more than one of these (especially if it will be a limited run).Comment

Concur. I've been avoiding temptation in the B/S/T threads and ebay circuit on the rash of micros that seem to have popped up. Case in point. I have a decent marker on it's way and I just got my tax return with my part of the econ stimulus package coming in May so I can't wait to do my part and help stimulate the American economy.Originally posted by matteuszThe micromag bodies have at least doubled my taste for mags.
