Getting closer

I need to make feed ports and sear screws . Im waiting on a machine to open up so i can get these done and over with .

ASA's are done and waiting to be deburred . The breaches now have their detent threads and need deburring also .

The bodies need a final clearance cut for the detent's and they are ready for deburring .

Im having issues with making the emag front blocks but i should be able to get over it with some new tooling im going to order tomorrow .

Deburring it also a nightmare with this 7075 material

Hes my shop sample #000 i assembled tonight that needs a little more deburring .







Did i mention deburring ? ,, lol , this stuff is like deburring 1018 steel . I cut myself twice already :/

Looks like a raw barrel on it.
Are you making the barrels too Russel or are did we buy "leftovers" ?
I forget what Tracy said so many pages ago .
Really just wondering what the bore size is on them.

I know nothing about the barrels .

The one on the gun is about 15 years old ,, hehe , it just happened to be raw .

They were raw leftovers they have founds that is going to be anodized with your gun .

I know there are those out there that believe this is ugly, but I can't wait to see what it is going to look like polished, ano'd, and in my hands. I know there are still more out there that look at it as a blank canvas to do some custom milling with the extra meat that is on there too. What are you guys going to do? Luke is keeping his cards close to himself, but that's probably because he's going to tinker and see what his new toy can do first Anyone else? Pk5, etc.?

The more I look at the pictures the more anxious I get about wanting to see these done!! BOUNCE BOUNCE.

The selfish part of me wants to whine and and push for the mech bodies to go to anno.

But I suppose it's only fair to wait for the E bodies to get finished too.

I was just wondering what anodizer could hand 100+ of these, with 8 to 10 parts each, all at once.
Most would be overwhelmed and want them in batches.

Just gota get in line and wait a couple days for them to get on the order .

yep that barrel will look really good with the 2009 set up, not sure but it looks long, i think it would look awesome if it was stubby. is that AC thread already?
