I apologize beforehand if I am bringing this back to life unnecessarily, but I'd really like to get one of these frames once they're made... so:
* is production still (kinda) on track and supposed to happen at some point in the (near) future?

I can't answer the when part, but the how. When the production begins, much like XMT, there should be a post with place holders with all the info of down payment and such. So start saving those pennies, and when the production begins again, post, deposit and wait patiently
