I think that I will go Tadao for now. I need the extra cash at this point. However, I think I paid $350. So I think it will be $150 minus the cost of eyes. I will check my Paypal later...

I would need eyes, and I have heard something about Blue Lazer Eyes or something like that from Tag. That would be kind of neat to have... However, whatever works works for me. I will ship the board out on Monday hopefully.

You very well may have paid $350, I don't have the paperwork in front of me (and its been so long, that I can't remember myself).

Normal Pred installs are $300, so that's what I defaulted to. Rest assured that whatever you paid, you'll get the balance back.

I'll see what I can do about the "Layzer" eyes, but I have a feeling that the Tadao uses a different voltage to run the eyes. I'll hit up FlipFlops to check it out.

I'll likely have to buy a set of standard eyes to rob the connectors off of anyway.

We'll get it figured out, one way or the other.

If you've got an XMag, your best bet is to go for the new EMag drop-in board.

Total replacement of your existing board, with little to no soldering. Uses your existing ACE board and eye. I believe they are $150 on TAG's website.

Much easier, and comes with support. Can't beat that.

I don't support the self installs since folks who aren't as skilled as you hack the job, and then want me to fix it for them . . . . . . .. for free.

Duzzy - I will dig out your paperwork and get back to you on how much you paid. I will also check with TAG and FlipFlops about the blue eyes, and get back to you with a price on that.

Once I get everything lined up, and hollow out a day to do the machine work, it should go pretty fast. Right now its looking like no sooner than next Friday. But hey, what's another week when its already been 3 months.

what if the emag only had the hall seneor....would i need to purchase a noid, or would that come with it? does it use the stock agd noid?(and run off of a 9volt? )and loses the HUGE battery?

No, you still need the noid and Emag battery.

Went to the TAG site to see the availability of the Emag boards. Doesn't look like they have them any longer. Maybe I was looking in the wrong spot.

nope they stoped selling them for now, but they had a preorder for them a while ago, i dont know what happened to them , i heard that some people got screwed over from it, but hopefully they should be comming out with a new board, otherwise your best bet is to find a predator morlock board, predator 2 board , or do what i will do, get a minimorlock and have it flashed with predator code from TAG
