I got my parts back from anno and am very happy with the finish.
Its all dust black nothing flashy, but a high quality finish.

We could blacken it, but anodizing is really limited mainly to Al 13, Ti 22, and Mg 12. With Aluminum being the main one that we do, we have anodized some Ti, but that isn't the same as the decorative anodizing we can do with aluminum.Originally posted by Speedballer666

Xmag has 2 different alloys... stay away from clear, green, and some reds, and it should do pretty good. I must say we have done 7xxx before just never an X. Send me an email [email protected]
Turnaround isnt too hot, we have a LOT of work on the table, although the other week we almost turned the time down, but then we got in a few jobs that are rough and jacked up our timing again. I need to learn that most customers are either a) hiding parts b) hiding something metal related or c) both (not talking about yours at all here, just we got a rash of "extra credit" jobs.)Comment
