Paintball Idea

I had an Idea on this, but it might be hard to implement, here goes:

In each half of the shell have an addition to the shell that seperates the shell half into two sections, when putting the paintball together ensure that these "membranes" are 90 degrees out from eachother.

What this would do is help the paintballs retain their shape, and provide a sort of paddle to cause the paint to move with the shell when spin is applied to the ball.

Not sure if I explained my idea very well (tried to stay crack free), but there it is.

hes funny i understand what u mean not sure if it would work though hard to add a paddle in the shell the way they are pressed out

Plus you could never ensure that the paintball is going to drop into the breach in an axially symmetric orientation, thus sometimes the liquid would spin with the "baffle" and sometimes it wouldn't because the "baffle" in the middle would be oriented in the direction of the spin.

Helium isn't expensive, and you could just add it to the fill process.

Helium is pretty expensive actually... not to mention we're running out. There are far more important uses for it other than filling paintballs.

And adding it to the fill process would be increadibly expensive for the companies manufacturing paint. People already complain about the cost of paint.

There isn't enough velocity to propel a paintball down a properly rifled paintball barrel. To achieve this, would put so much force on the paintball, that it would tear apart. If you made it tough enough to withstand these forces, it wouldn't break on the target. The velocity would also be so high that the paintball would be lethal.
