    alternative paintballs your ideas plz

how about sponge full of paint encapsulated in gelatin shell (smooth outside)

    or chalk in gelatin shell

or should they be like the fn303 ammo (see my signaturefor picture)

would teflon coating tight barrels have any effect on accuracy/distance ?

why do they have to be spheres why not bullet shapped ?

as for the bullet shaped part...can you thinlk of a way to load that in your marker? pointing the way its supposed to

and teflon coated, chauk, and sponge filled...can you imagine how much it will cost then

lol try loading a hopper full of bullet shaped paintballs, eventually youll be shooting a paintball with the broad side as the leading edge causing hte "bullet shaped": paint ball to veer off course say drag 90* in any direction not at where your aiming

for the bullet shaped i was thinking more like belt fed than hopper fed

as for the chalk if it had a lot of air holes in it, it should break easily sure the guy getting shot might feel it a bit more but that makes it easier for the marshalls hearing him shout in discomfort

ya but a hard hit to the hopper and you just lost a buncha chalk. Also chalk wont entirely stay on and what is to stop you from getting called out from a Chalk mark from a previous game

i was thinking, and the bullet shaped paintballs would work with the current technology, namely, the q loader, although its had a bad reception, but imagine how many people would buy it if it increased your range and accuracy!

Those things are A LOT HEAVYER. That is why they leave such big welts. A bullet shaped paintball would be more accurate. Spin stabilize it and it would be MUCH more accurate.

spin stabalizing a bullet shaped paintball wouldn't do much, as they suffer from the same problem as normal paintballs, liquid fill, the advantange of shaped paintballs would be making paintballs more aerodynamic, and thereby making them have longer range and become more accurate (that last part doesnt make sense, i know)

As far as I know Tom's military rounds can carry a liquid payload. They are spin stabilized for increased accuracy.

the fill is probably thicker, hence the extreme pain

The extra pain comes from the fact that it is three times heavier than a paintball. I do not believe there are any issues with spinning a paintball. Tom has proof that paintballs spin when fired and the spin does NOT rapidly slow down range.

I was watching Conquest (I think) or one of those learning shows. They were doing stuff on SWAT training. And I believe the "paintballs" they used shot from a regular gun from a clip.
