Basically this is how it works:
From the back, you've got your back cap outlined in black, and then a QEV putting air from a 3-way solenoid into a ram with a bumper in the back. The pressure given buy the QEV would drive the whole combo forward until the 2 inlet holes crossed (the red squares) firing the ball and sealing the breech. The 2nd QEV would then pressurize the area in the center driving the bolt back towards the back cap, which would be cushioned by the bumper.
the drawbacks:
- Well I guess I could have explained a matrix or shocker, i just don't understand how they work very well.
- inconsistant? The air never would really pass through a valve, it would just go from the guns ASA into a chamber were it would sit until the 2 inlet holes crossed.
