Actually, the reason it does that is because the microswitches are just that microswitches and by definition have dbounce. I talked to Miscue a while back and he said that in 4.00 he put in a dbounce subroutine for the buttons unfortunately I can't afford the space and up to now I have never heard anyone mention it as being a problem so it must not be that bad. Like someone else said when you get close to the setting you want you just need to slow down a bit and it shouldn't be too bad. There should be no difference with respect to that in any release of XMOD from the beginning.

OK guys I am getting ready to release it as XMOD 1.0 and I would like to know if there are any bugs or frustrations or things that you think could be done better. This menu dbounce thing is a good one but I would like to know if there are any others. I'm getting ready to put this project to rest.

Well for one thing, is there any more room left to program on the board for addtional features or are you jsut referring to the way it is now?

I got my xmag back from AGD a couple of weeks ago. I did try it out once on 800 psi and it rocked! Unfortunately, I had no time since then. Work has been real busy. I did notice that the menu thing. I just passed it off as pressing the buttons to fast.

I dont know why you would want to toss the lvl10 for.

I hate tuning Level 10 bolts. It's not hard...but needs done every other month or so and also when I change velocities for indoor play. I miss the old classic where i could throw it in the closet for 6 months and expect it to be ready to go when i get to the field.

This is one reason I'm thinking about taking ULT out of my pneumag.

Will the release version of the software allow for custom bootup screens? ( minus the custom characters of course )

I wouldn't even mind if it booted up scrolling "custom message" an then "Xmod Rel. v1.0" scrolled in right after that.

Custom boot screens will be handled in the same way they are now... there's simply no way that I know of to make this modifiable to the user so the $20 is simply for my time.

Well the indoor field I play makes you go 260. But when I play outlaw or outdoors, we usually go about 310. So the prings need changed for ultimate lightness on paint.
