My hands are on fire!
The pepper spray we use at work is Oleoresin Capsicum. Cyanne pepper is the short name. Capsaicin has a hotter SHU than Jalapenos do and we just use plain water. You can use dawn dish soap to help remove the oil that keeps it on your skin but it's going to be there for a day or so regardless... -

Alcohol can work, but it's not in a high enough quantity on beer to have any real effect. A minimum 2% milk and yogurt are best. Milk and yogurt contain casein, which dislodged the capsaicin from the nerve receptors in your mouth. Milk and yogurt will also work on the skin. Soap and water on the skin will do nothing except help spread the sting around and make things worse.Originally posted by WSCopicI have no idea, but at the jalapeno eating contest, they said beer or alcohol kills the chemical that causes the burn.

Sugar. Seriously, a sugar packet (in your mouth at least) will take care of the pain instantly.
